About gallery

We believe that art does not belong exclusively to the space enclosed within four white walls.

Our canvas is the landscape, and our studio is nature. The Slovak Land Art Gallery connects artists, places, and visitors into one harmonious whole.

01

Respect for the place

We do not create for nature, but together with it. Our artworks are a living expression of the landscape — they respect it, subtly complement it, and naturally connect with a specific place.

02

Transience as value

Land art is a living organism — it changes under the influence of light, rain, wind, and time. The disappearance of an artwork is not a loss, but its culmination.

03

Wandering is part of the artwork

You have to find your own way to art hidden in nature. Wandering through the landscape is part of the artistic experience.

04

Art in a specific place

Each artwork is created in dialogue with the surroundings — local creators, visitors, and the unique genius loci of a given place.
